Tulip Red Riding Hood

Probably the most widely grown of all dwarf tulips and is a top choice for planting in pots. Tulip 'Red Riding Hood' has striking bright red flowers with contrasting dark mottled purple striped foliage.
Tulips are one of the most popular bulbs as they are great planted with many different and contrasting colour variations to create a vibrant spring look. Try planting 'Red Riding Hood' with 'Triumph White' for an eye-catching display. They also make perfect flowers for cutting – just cut the long stems, bring indoors and display in vases on windowsills of mantelpieces.
This fully hardy perennial tulip is easy to grow and will naturalise well if left in the ground. Mix with contrasting colours for dramatic effect.
