Clematis Rahvarinne

Description

'Rahvarinne' is a large flowering, deciduous Clematis that produces an abundance of vibrant, star shaped flowers from July to September, or even longer in mild weather.
This late flowering Clematis bears huge, showy violet-purple flowers that reach 15cm across and will cover the whole plant. The petals are broad and almost oval with a deep pink stripe down the centre, a stunning and unmissable sight!
'Rahvarinne' is a compact Clematis that's perfectly suited to growing up a trellis or obelisk, either in pots on the patio or in the ground, giving your garden a striking feature and extra height. It can also be grown without a support and left to run through nearby shrubs where it'll provide an extra pop of colour in your borders. As it's a late season variety, you may want to consider planting and earlier flowers Clematis alongside it, giving you a longer flowering season.
Easy to care for, just needing regular watering and feeding, and pruning is simple, just cut the whole plant back to just about ground level in late winter or early spring and it'll quickly begin to regrow.
Supplied as a potted plant in a 9cm pot, growing to a height of 2m (6½ft) and width of 1m (3ft).
