With arching deep red sword leaves the Cordyline 'Red Star' is a splendid plant for the patio, contrasting beautifully with the more familiar greens of other plants and bringing a tropical feel to the garden.
Plant in a pot and grow outside through the summer before moving to a protected space such as a greenhouse or conservatory for the winter. As your Cordyline matures it will become more frost hardy, therefore it can be left outside in all but the coldest weather and will withstand all but severe frost. When mature expect to see lovely spikes of white, exquisitely scented blooms in late summer.
Supplied as an established plant in a 12cm pot approx. 55cm tall, ready to plant. Grows to a height of 6m.
