Description
Caryopteris 'Heavenly Blue', commonly known as Bluebeard, is a neat and compact deciduous shrub with arching branches which carry small, intense blue flowers and aromatic grey-green foliage.
A Royal Horticultural Society 'Plant for Pollinators', caryopteris is a magnet for bees, butterflies and a host of other pollinating insects, attracted by the dense clusters of dainty flowers in August and September.
Easy to grow and drought tolerant, 'Heavenly Blue' is happy in a pot or in the ground in a sheltered location and is the ideal size for the middle of the border, and planted amongst orange and yellow flowering plants, the brightness of its blue flowers really makes the colours stand out.
Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready to plant. Reaching a height and spread of 1m (3ft).
